A Surfly Partner Solution Engineer is a trusted advisor and operations architect for our partners. As a trusted advisor you’ll have a direct impact in helping our partners gain the most value from our technology.

You will play a key role in supporting the technical side of Surfly’s growing channel partnerships. You’ll work closely with the Partnership Lead to help onboard, support, and scale partner integrations, ensuring technical excellence throughout the lifecycle of our partner relationships.

In addition, you’ll contribute significantly to pre-sales conversations and customer onboarding for a major strategic partner, positioning Surfly’s integration in a way that aligns with both business goals and technical requirements.


Key job responsibilities

Partner Channel Technical Enablement

  • Act as the first technical point of contact for channel partners integrating with Surfly’s product.

  • Assist Partners with API usage, integration testing, product configuration and other queries.

  • Maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and partner enablement resources.

  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on partner-related needs and pain points.

Strategic Partner Collaboration

  • Support presales activities by demonstrating technical capabilities of the Surfly + Partner integration to both end-customers and Partners.

  • Join calls with both Customers and Prospects within the Partner channel to assist with the technical conversation.

  • Assist in the implementation and onboarding of customers using the joint solution, owning the technical side of the project.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure a smooth experience from demo to deployment.

Internal Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with the Partnership Lead to evolve our channel program’s technical foundation.

  • Help build scalable processes for partner onboarding and support.

  • Stay up to date with Surfly’s product updates and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Job requirements

Experience & Education

  • 2+ years of experience in technical roles such as Technical Support, Pre-sales, Solutions Engineer, or Developer Relations, preferably in SaaS or API-focused environments

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Proven success in developing and executing customer implementation strategies

  • Strong analytical abilities to assess KPIs and monitor new customer health metrics

  • Exceptional project management skills with ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities using both qualitative and quantitative analysis

Communication & Leadership

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

  • High emotional intelligence with strong empathy and customer-focused approach

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Partner teams

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of web technologies including:

    • Web languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)

    • API and webhook integrations

  • Experience with technical implementations in customer-facing environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience in insurance, financial services, technology, telecommunications, or business process outsourcing (BPO)

  • Language skills: Native-level English; additional languages such as German, French, or Dutch are valued

  • Self-motivated team player comfortable working independently or in collaborative settings

  • Curious, resourceful mindset with eagerness to learn and adapt
