Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an Account Executive who is a self-starter, can recognize real opportunities and take the initiative to turn leads into long-lasting partnerships. This role is based in Amsterdam and will be part of a team focused on growing Surfly’s global footprint. The Sales team works closely with Marketing, Customer Success and Sales Engineering, and we expect this person to be a strong communicator both internally and externally, and have a mentality of getting. things. done. 

If you are competitive and ready to hit sales targets, have a strong understanding of industry trends (or the aptitude to learn quickly) and are comfortable with speaking to technical audiences, we look forward to hearing from you. Our team is extremely passionate about the technology we’re selling, and your passion for Surfly should come across in our first meeting. Bonus points for Native Dutch and previous experience with contact center/CX technology, CPaaS, chat, video chat and/or related web technologies. This is a high-paced role that requires exceptional organization skills and real initiative for outbound sales, building client relationships, explaining use cases, and enhancing the buyer experience.


  • Prospect your own leads, build a well-qualified pipeline of opportunities and close deals to achieve your quota
  • Engage with prospects by learning about their challenges, identifying use cases and performing demos
  • Manage multiple priorities and deals 
  • Seamlessly and effectively work with different teams (operations, finance, legal) to close deals
  • Contribute to building best practices for the overall Sales team and Surfly - we are one team with one mission
  • Strong and professional social selling on LinkedIn 
  • Navigate enterprise accounts to gain entry to higher levels and strategic decision-makers
  • Identify up-selling opportunities within existing accounts
  • Maintain operational and CRM excellence on a weekly basis for accurate forecasting

  • 2+ years of experience in SaaS Sales
  • Strong sales experience, track record and references
  • Solid understanding of customer experience, collaboration, contact center and chat/chatbot technologies
  • Specific vertical experience in insurance and financial services is a plus
  • Native dutch is a plus
  • Fast growth, startup experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the global tech landscape, solutions, go-to-markets and contact center
  • You are a highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual who loves to work in a diverse and international team
